Cowbridge & the Vale of Glamorgan

Cowbridge is an ideal base for a perfect holiday in the Vale of Glamorgan. Full of history (as well as award winning restaurants, pubs and bars and gorgeous shops!), Cowbridge also has plenty of events throughout the year.

You could eat out for every meal and everything in between, or sample the farmers markets and make the most of your self catering accommodation.

Nearby there's horseriding through beautiful countryside or across dramatically windswept beaches, or bicycles to hire so you can explore the Vale of Glamorgan at a leisurely pace!

We welcome dogs at both properties and there are some ideal circular (long and short!), interesting walks. Please see http://www.valeways.org.uk/ for some information - but we do try and supply some of these little walking maps too.

If adventurous activities are your thing, Adventures Wales is close by and offers quad biking, gorge scrambling, surfing, canoeing, climbing...

Cowbridge is also near to Cottrell Park, a golf course open to both members and non-members and set in lovely countryside.

As ever in Wales, our holiday properties are also near to several romantic and dramatic castles! Two ruins are within walking distance of our properties.

The beautiful heritage coast is popular with walkers, surfers and keen rockpoolers alike! The beaches are just a short drive from Cowbridge.

There are also all sorts of events on throughout the year - and near Christmas even Santa Claus comes to Cowbridge, bringing his reindeer with him!
