In Wales you will never be far from an ancient castle – there are two ruins within easy walking distance of our holiday accommodation in Cowbridge, and of course a short drive away is romantic Castell Coch, Cardiff Castle, Raglan Castle and Caerphilly Castle.

Adventures & Quad Biking

For those seeking adventurous activities, our holiday properties are near to Adventures Wales who provide a really wide range of high quality adventurous activities (the activity photos on the right are courtesy of the centre!) Why not come and have a quad biking and gorge scrambling weekend here!

Play golf

Something a little more sedate... For golfers, a five minute drive brings you to Cottrell Park Golf Club open to non-members and in a beautiful setting.

Go horseriding

There is a choice of horse riding from countryside to seaside (how about riding on horseback across golden sand with the sea breeze in your hair …)

Alternatively, hire a bike from Simon’s Cycles in Cowbridge.

Wander around beautiful gardens

Historic Dyffryn gardens, restored with lottery funding, are just a couple of miles outside Cowbridge and as well as the stunning gardens is often the venue for open air concerts and plays.

Wander along the coast

The beautiful heritage coast is close to our holiday accommodation and with its dramatic cliffs and huge, windswept beaches, it's well worth a visit.
